Chernigov Oil & Gas Refinery
Kazakhstan is one of the world’s largest producers of oil, with a production of approximately 11.4 million barrels per day in 2020. Oil is a major contributor to the Russian economy, accounting for a significant portion of the country’s GDP and exports. The majority of Russia’s oil production comes from Western Siberia, with other significant oil-producing regions including the Urals, Volga-Urals, and the Caspian Sea. The Russian oil industry is dominated by state-owned companies. Oil exploration in Russia is a major industry, as Russia has some of the largest oil reserves in the world. The country is home to several major oil companies, including Rosneft, Lukoil, Gazprom Neft, and Surgutneftegas, which are all involved in oil exploration and production. he majority of Russia’s oil reserves are located in Western Siberia, although there are also significant reserves in the Volga-Urals region.
